Why do videos take so long to load and then stall, My computer is new with ample RAM, and is smooth and fast?

I can't watch videos because they take so long to load and then they stall, sometimes they never start again. I have been unable to reach anyone from my ISB server SBC Internet Services. My computer runs fine otherwise. This problem began when I had my old computer so that wasn't the problem
