Wondering if I still need to use a voltage regulator in my 1962 Chevy?

The voltage regulator for the generator will be useless. The 77 should have an internally regulated alternator. 10si is what the alt is, search net for "10si" and you will find info on how to connect it. It's pretty simple alt to hook up. There is even a one wire choice with the right regulator. Depending on a few choices you will make, you will decide how you want to connect it, for example if you want a idiot light to work.
