S10 blazer or truck (extended cab)?

The extended cab truck. That way you get the best of both worlds. You can still haul stuff that a blazer can't. The vortex V8 is an awesome setup and the changeover can be found on a lot of forums. They will happily walk you through any wiring and transmission questions that you might run into.
