What happens to my email account after i cancel sbc?

I currently have AT&T DSL and looking to moving to another service. I currently have one primary email account and three secondary email accounts utilizing @sbcglobal.net but powered by Yahoo!. What happens to my email accounts if I decide to terminate my AT&T DSL service?
